After QuickTel privatized in early 2000, one of its main objectives was to find sales opportunities in countries outside of Egypt. After extensive research and surveys were completed to identify such countries, the Export Department was officially established, identifying countries of interest and main areas of focus within the Middle East and Africa areas.

To help with realizing the objectives of the Export Department, QuickTel actively began recruiting strong, high caliber professionals with backgrounds in marketing and sales. After engaging in comprehensive training on the most advanced telecommunications equipment, the Export Department was ready to begin establishing stable and efficient business opportunities. By the end of 2001, the first Export Sale was conducted. Currently, QuickTel has signed contracts in Kuwait, Algeria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Jordan and is continuously negotiating offers with other countries.
